Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026 • Version 2.0

1. Zero Data Retention & BYOK Model

BhaiCode operates on a strict **Zero Data Retention** philosophy. When you use BhaiCode Desktop in **Bring Your Own Key (BYOK)** mode, your source code, file trees, and API credentials remain exclusively on your local machine. We do not store, log, or train AI models on your code.

2. Local & Cloud Compute Sandboxes

When utilizing BhaiCode Cloud Sandboxes for remote execution (test runners, build tasks, and migrations), files are transferred over TLS-encrypted streams to isolated, ephemeral Linux containers. All sandbox containers and temporary build artifacts are purged immediately upon task termination.

3. Telemetry & Anonymous Metrics

To monitor release stability, BhaiCode may collect minimal, non-identifying telemetry metrics (such as CLI version numbers and command crash logs). We never include source code, file names, or environment secrets in telemetry. You can completely disable telemetry by setting the environment variable:

export BHAICODE_TELEMETRY=0

4. Third-Party Provider Integrations

When connecting BhaiCode to third-party model providers (e.g., Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, DeepSeek, or custom OpenAI-compatible endpoints), your prompt data is dispatched directly to those respective endpoints according to their individual privacy and data retention policies.

5. User Rights & Data Deletion

You have the right to request deletion of your BhaiCode Console account, session records, and billing metadata at any time. To request account purge, contact our security team at privacy@bhaico.de.
