BhaiCode provides two development environments powered by a shared agent core:

1. BhaiCode Desktop Workspace: A lightweight native desktop application powered by Tauri 2, Rust, and React 19 (~7–8 MB installer, ~45MB idle RAM). It runs locally on your machine, providing task-driven agent planning, CodeMirror 6 editing with inline code selection ("Ask AI on Selection"), multi-file visual diff review, an integrated PTY terminal, and local-first execution.
2. BhaiCode Cloud Studio: A zero-setup, browser-based web application builder at app.bhaico.de. It offers real-time streaming code generation, in-browser compilation, responsive device previews (Desktop, Tablet, Mobile), 1-click database provisioning (Cloudflare D1, Neon Postgres, Supabase), and instant deployments to BhaiCode Global Edge, Vercel, and Netlify.

Both surfaces support native multilingual prompts across 9+ Indian languages and English, preserving code syntax while letting you explain logic in your natural tongue.

1. BhaiCode Desktop Workspace

• Agentic Canvas Mode: Assign multi-step tasks to Bhai. The agent creates a step-by-step implementation plan, edits files across your project, and reports progress live.
• CodeMirror 6 Editor & Ask AI on Selection: Highlight any block of code and press Cmd + K / Ctrl + K to explain, refactor, generate unit tests, or fix compiler diagnostics.
• Multi-File Visual Diff Viewer: Review changes across touched files with granular block-by-block accept/reject controls and instant git checkpoint rollbacks.
• Transparency Dock & Permission Gates: Safe by default. Granular approval gates prompt you before running shell commands or modifying files outside the workspace.
• Integrated PTY Terminal: Hardware-accelerated terminal (xterm.js + portable-pty) with command demarcation and background process tabs.
• Local-First & OS Keychain: Source code remains on your machine. API credentials live in your operating system's native keychain (macOS Keychain, Windows Credential Manager, Linux Secret Service). Supports local offline models via Ollama.

2. BhaiCode Cloud Studio

• Instant Browser Access: Open app.bhaico.de to build and deploy full-stack applications (Next.js, Vite + React, Astro, Remix, SvelteKit, Tailwind CSS) without local compilers.
• Live Responsive Preview: Real-time hot-reloading iframe with responsive device viewports (Desktop fluid, Tablet 768px, Mobile 375px) and live console logs.
• Floating Hotbar Controls: Preview/Code toggle, device viewports, Inspect element, Plugins status, Reload, Pop-out, and Deploy.
• Auto-Collapsing Workspace Sidebar: Opens in a clean full workspace, togglable via Cmd + B / Ctrl + B.
• 1-Click Connectors: Link GitHub, GitLab, Vercel, Netlify, Neon, Supabase, Linear, and Sentry via OAuth 2.0.
• Instant Deployments: Deploy to BhaiCode Global Edge with automatic *.bhaico.dev subdomains and free SSL, or push directly to Vercel and Netlify.

Universal Indic Multilingual Intelligence

BhaiCode natively supports 9+ Indian languages and English:

• Supported Languages: Hindi, Hinglish, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Kannada, Gujarati, Malayalam, Punjabi, Odia, and English.
• Zero Syntax Corruption Guarantee: Programming keywords, function signatures, variables, and imports (useEffect, prisma.$transaction, idempotencyKey) remain strictly preserved in standard code syntax while explanations flow naturally in your chosen language.
