Custom Domains & DNS Configuration

Configure custom domains, CNAME records, Apex ALIAS records, and automated SSL in BhaiCode.

You can attach your own custom domain (e.g., app.yourcompany.com or yourdomain.com) to any project deployed on BhaiCode Global Edge.

Step 1: Add Your Domain

  1. Open project settings in Cloud Studio or Dashboard.
  2. Go to Domains → click Add Custom Domain.
  3. Enter your domain name (e.g., app.example.com or example.com).

Step 2: Configure DNS Records

At your DNS provider (Cloudflare, Route 53, Namecheap, GoDaddy):

For Subdomains (`app.example.com`)

Add a CNAME record:

Type Name Target TTL
CNAME app cname.bhaico.dev Auto / 300

For Root Domains (`example.com`)

Add an ALIAS or ANAME record (or Cloudflare CNAME flattening):

Type Name Target TTL
ALIAS / CNAME @ cname.bhaico.dev Auto / 300

If your DNS provider only supports A records for root domains:

Type Name IP Address TTL
A @ 104.21.58.12 Auto / 300

Step 3: SSL Provisioning

Once DNS records propagate (typically 1–5 minutes), SSL certificates are provisioned automatically and the domain status updates to Active.
